چکیده
A Pardon rovat Kosztolányi Dezső közreműködésével 1919 és 1921 között jelent meg heti rendszerességgel az Új Nemzedék hasábjain. Az ott szereplő glosszák több mint harmada antiszemita tartalommal rendelkezett, ezeknek nagy része stilisztikai elemzések alapján munkásságához köthető (Arany 2019). Irodalomtudományos szempontból sokat foglalkoztak korszakával, ám társadalomtudományos szemszögből még nem tárgyalták azt. író irodalmi munkássága ismertsége miatt rendelkezésünkre állnak olyan dokumentumok, amelyek feltárják, hogy ő maga kortársai hogyan értelmezték – a írójaként szerkesztőjeként diskurzusban való szerepét. Célunk, megismerjük azt korszellemet, amelyben keletkeztek, megpróbáljuk megérteni, makroszintű társadalomtörténeti folyamatok hatottak egyéni mikroszintre, ezzel kontextust nyújtva írásaihoz. Tanulmányunkban zsidóság társadalmi, gazdasági politikai helyzetének feltárásán keresztül elemezzük tartalmait azok kialakulásának hátterében meghúzódó folyamatokat, majd életútján mutatjuk be, hatott egyén életére részvétel.
